hysical) component of grief will be discussed in detail as it relates to the four pillars of strength of a human being: body, mind, spirit and soul. The synergistic integration of these strengths is key to surviving traumatic loss. We will be identifying common stressors experienced in grief and discuss ways to neutralize its toxic effect on our body. A brief guided imagery to introduce the relaxation response will be conducted.
For all loss with a focus on breaking out of the cocoon of early grief and discovering their new normal.
2.g means embracing your grief, not fighting it, medicating it (long term), or ignoring it. Living with the loss and choosing to being transformed by it. Choosing your road to reinvestment in life; exploring ways to grieve out of the box and address each unique aspect of your loss. One can choose to become an intentional survivor and legacy builder or more collateral damage.

For all loss but a great tool for the newly bereaved I who in the early months and years are dealing with so many new and raw emotions. Creativity and music is hugely cathartic for the newly bereaved.

Discovering what our grieving style is can better equip us for the journey and what we do or don’t do in those years can cripple us or transform us into powerful advocate for humanity and a compassionate mentor for the bereaved.
